Football Recap: Richard Wright Public Charter School Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Richard Wright Public Charter School's offense. They were outmatched by the KIPP College Prep Panthers and fell 50-0. The Spartans lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 22-6 score last time.

This is the second loss in a row for Richard Wright Public Charter School and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for KIPP College Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Richard Wright Public Charter School will square off against rival KIPP DC Legacy College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, KIPP College Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe Digital Pioneers Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
