Soccer Game Preview: Sage Creek vs. Fallbrook

Sage Creek and Fallbrook are an even 2-2-2 against one another since January of 2018, but likely not for long. The Sage Creek Bobcats will be playing at home against the Fallbrook Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fallbrook will have to contend with a Sage Creek squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen since December 7. Sage Creek came up short against Sweetwater two weeks ago, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 666th, while the Red Devils are ranked 252nd).

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Fallbrook's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sonora on Monday.

Fallbrook now has a losing record at 2-3-2. As for Sage Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2.
