Soccer Recap: Ignite Athletics Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Russell, Ignite Athletics was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cross Lanes Christian Warriors a 1-0 shutout. For Ignite Athletics, this counts as revenge for the 2-2 win Cross Lanes Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.

The victory got Ignite Athletics back to even at 2-2. As for Cross Lanes Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-2.

Coming up, Ignite Athletics is taking a road trip to face off against St. Joseph Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cross Lanes Christian, they will welcome Poca at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
