Baseball Game Preview: South Panola Tigers vs. Neshoba Central Rockets

For the second straight game, South Panola will face off against Neshoba Central. The Tigers will host the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (South Panola has won five straight at home, while Neshoba Central won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.

South Panola heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Saturday. They fell just short of Neshoba Central by a score of 3-2.

Neshoba Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for South Panola, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.
