Recap: Shekinah Christian Flames vs. Northside Christian Lions
The Shekinah Christian Flames scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They strolled past Northside Christian with points to spare, taking the game 49-31. The win was familiar territory for Shekinah Christian who now have three in a row.
Shekinah Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Allie Beachy, who scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Haylee Beachy, who scored four points along with three steals.
Shekinah Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Northside Christian, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Shekinah Christian will challenge Berne Union at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northside Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Horizon Science Academy at 1:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
