Football Game Preview: McDonogh 35 Roneagles vs. Abramson Commodores

McDonogh 35 is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Thursday. They will host the Abramson Commodores at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

McDonogh 35 is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 53-14 victory over East Jefferson. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-14.

Meanwhile, Abramson put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Crescent City Christian 55-0. The contest marked the Commodores' most dominant win of the season.

McDonogh 35 now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Abramson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Everything came up roses for McDonogh 35 against Abramson when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 47-0 win. Will the Roneagles repeat their success, or do the Commodores have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
