Conrad proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 15) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua Scotties. For the Girls Cowboys, this counts as revenge for the 9-0 victory the Scotties walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Sophie Sanders was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Emily Thompson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Conrad is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Conrad has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Shepherd on the 9th. Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
