Volleyball Recap: Spring Valley Makes It Three in a Row on the Road + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sierra Vista, Spring Valley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rancho Rams. For the Grizzlies, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2018.

The final score came out to 25-22, 16-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Kelsea Baer, who had 12 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August. Peyton Wood also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Rancho's loss came despite strong showings from Halei Aikau and Marian Moreno. Aikau had 12 digs and two assists, while Moreno had ten digs and seven kills. Aikau has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Spring Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-12. As for Rancho, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-14.

Coming up, Spring Valley will challenge Desert Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rancho, they will be playing at home against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
