Five must be Merryville's lucky number: they beat Lake Arthur with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Panthers didn't even let the Tigers on the board, marking the Panthers' second-straight 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Cole C. Mirante, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Josh Robinson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
