Brighton Gilmour turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two hits surrendered on Friday. He turned in his biggest game of the season, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because McKinley is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-12 otherwise.

Coming up, Gilmour and McKinley will square off against Poland Seminary at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Gilmour had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in March of 2024 31-2.
