Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sapulpa). They came out on top against the Alma Airedales by a score of 61-51 on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Chieftains as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sapulpa's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Alma, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sapulpa will be home for the holidays to greet Bartlesville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alma, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Russellville at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
