Scottsboro had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Fairview Aggies as they made off with a 10-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Scottsboro pushed their record up to 18-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Fairview, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-10.

Coming up, Scottsboro will take on Etowah in a tournament on Friday. Fairview has already played their next contest (against West Point), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
