Baseball Recap: North Charleston Starts off Right with Win over Military Magnet Academy

North Charleston had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Military Magnet Academy Eagles 19-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Robert Porcher looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, North Charleston saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Wright-Rollerson, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his six plate appearances.
