Softball Recap: South Lamar Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Lamar can now relate to. They came up short against the Hackleburg Panthers on Thursday, falling 13-1. That's two games in a row now that the Stallions have lost by exactly 12 runs.

South Lamar now has a losing record of 18-19. As for Hackleburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-10 record this season.

South Lamar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hackleburg, they have already played their next matchup, a 13-0 win against Athens Bible on the 8th.
