Basketball Recap: Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sotomayor last Monday, Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica came back down to earth. The Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Seawolves came up short against the Oakwood Owls on Thursday, falling 75-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Seawolves have suffered since November 30, 2024.

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Oakwood, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 9-9.

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica is taking a road trip to take on Bernstein at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Bernstein knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 matches -- so hopefully Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica likes a good challenge. As for Oakwood, they will welcome AGBU at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
