Volleyball Recap: Billings Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Galena last Thursday, Billings came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Covenant Academy Warriors on Thursday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 23-25, 25-15, 25-12.

Billings' defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6-1. As for New Covenant Academy, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4-3.

Billings didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Russellville on the 11th. New Covenant Academy has also already played their next matchup (against Everton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
