Basketball Recap: East Marshall Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gladbrook-Reinbeck, East Marshall was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 66-57 win over the South Hardin Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 71-62 loss.

East Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for South Hardin, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

East Marshall has already played their next game (against Denver), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. South Hardin will take on Grundy Center at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Grundy Center knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully South Hardin likes a good challenge.
