Basketball Game Preview: West Field Longhorns vs. West Panthers + Official Tickets

The West Field Longhorns will head out to challenge the West Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on West Field, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, West Field had just enough and edged out Ridgeline 52-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Longhorns.

West Field got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cason Malan out in front who shot 75% from the field on his way to 12 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Malan a new career-high in assists (three). Drew Faddis was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, West unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They received a blow last Friday as they fell 52-34 to Woods Cross. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

West Field will have to contain Elijah Albertson as he made an impact in West's last game. He posted 11 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was David Garcia, who scored six points.
