Riverside Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt St. James on Thursday. The Riverside Academy Rebels put the hurt on the St. James Wildcats with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Riverside Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. St. James' defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside Academy will venture away from home to take on Cecilia at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. James, they will head out to face off against Albany at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
