Volleyball Recap: Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Loganville Christian Academy + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Loganville Christian Academy Lions 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Mt. Bethel Christian Academy who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 20-25, 16-14.

Sam Karel paced Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Karel got some help from Anslee Balachowski and her 15 assists. Balachowski also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Cailey Leister, racking up two apiece.

Despite the loss, Loganville Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from London Edmunds, who had nine digs and two aces.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy now has a winning record of 17-16. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their loss ended a 16-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 25-7.

Coincidentally, Mt. Bethel Christian Academy and Loganville Christian Academy will both be playing Mount Vernon the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
