Basketball Recap: Northwest Gets the Win + How To Watch

The Northwest Mounties were able to grind out a solid victory over the DeWitt Panthers on Friday, taking the game 59-50. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mounties.

Roe-Darrel DeDeaux II had a dynamite game, shooting 42% from the field on his way to 22 points and three steals. Malik Hill was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 12 points and five boards.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Northwest will venture away from home to take on Adrian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeWitt, they will head out to challenge Grand Ledge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
