Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wakefield). They were the clear victor by a 65-39 margin over the Tekamah-Herman Tigers on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Wakefield's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15. As for Tekamah-Herman, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wakefield will host Winnebago on Tuesday. Wakefield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Tekamah-Herman has already played their next game (against North Bend Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
