Soccer Recap: Washington-Wilkes Takes a Loss

Washington-Wilkes lost against Social Circle back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Washington-Wilkes lost 11-1 to Social Circle. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Washington-Wilkes were already down 8-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Brooke Crickard, who's now up to four this season.

Washington-Wilkes dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Social Circle, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Washington-Wilkes wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Greene County on the 28th. As for Social Circle, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Putnam County on the 24th.
