Baseball Recap: Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Comes Up Short

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lennox Academy Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 on April 5th.

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Lennox Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Coming up, Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica will be playing at home against Port of Los Angeles at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Seawolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Polar Bears have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Lennox Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Dominguez at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
