Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Mission South Gets the Win

Shawnee Mission South won the last time they faced Atchison and things went their way on Saturday too. The Raiders came out on top against the Phoenix by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shawnee Mission South was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13.

Shawnee Mission South's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Atchison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-17-2.

Shawnee Mission South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Louisburg on the 11th. As for Atchison, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Perry-Lecompton on the 11th.
