After losing to Garaway the last time they met, Waynedale decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Golden Bears skirted past the Pirates 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Bears.

Callie Wolfe paced Waynedale's offense, picking up nine kills. Wolfe got some help from Sydnee Beckler and her 25 assists. Finally, Bella Parry kept Waynedale's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Waynedale's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Garaway, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Waynedale is taking a road trip to take on Triway at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Garaway, they will be playing at home against Strasburg-Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
