Basketball Game Preview: Clarion-Limestone Lions vs. Oil City Oilers + How To Watch

Clarion-Limestone hasn't had much luck against Oil City recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Oilers at 1:15 p.m. One thing working in Clarion-Limestone's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.

Clarion-Limestone took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 68-54 win over Redbank Valley.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Oil City over Seneca in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Oilers blew the Bobcats out of the water with a 75-20 final score. That 55 point margin sets a new team best for the Oilers this season.

Clarion-Limestone is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. As for Oil City, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
