Volleyball Recap: Fenton Comes Up Short

Fenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Chicago Wildcats. If the Bison were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fenton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22.

Fenton's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for West Chicago, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fenton will take on Leyden at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Chicago, they will challenge Geneva at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
