Softball Preview: Havelock Rams vs. White Oak Vikings        
        
		
            
 Havelock has been on the road for four straight, but  on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the White Oak Vikings at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Havelock is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.4  runs per game  this season.
 Havelock is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout  on Monday, just like they did against Jacksonville (and have done all season long). Everything went Havelock's way against Jacksonville on Thursday as Havelock made off with  a  15-2 victory.
  Elana Krupey made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   five  hits (and only one walk). Krupey has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Krupey was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  triples and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Grace Bispham, who  went 3-for-3 with two  triples, four  RBI,  and two  runs.  Chloe Schreckengost was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with three  doubles, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, White Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. Their  rough  14-3 defeat to Dixon  might stick with them for a while.
  Avery Sise made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Havelock has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season. As for White Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Havelock has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 5.5  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like White Oak struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.4. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Havelock took their  win against White Oak  when the teams last played  back in March by a conclusive  13-5. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was  White Oak's  Alyssa Carkhuff, who  went 2-for-4 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run. Now that she's  got a second chance to win this matchup, will Havelock still be able to contain  Carkhuff? There's only one way to find out.
