Baseball Recap: Wapahani Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wapahani came out on top against Centerville on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run sixth inning. The Raiders put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 13-4 victory. Considering the Raiders have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Nate Luce was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Noah Henderson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Wapahani kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win (which was Wapahani's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Centerville, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 1-5-2.

Looking ahead, Wapahani will take on Shenandoah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wapahani's pitchers better be ready for this one: Shenandoah has averaged an impressive 13.5 runs per game this season. As for Centerville, they will challenge Northeastern at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
