Baseball Recap: Wauzeka-Steuben's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Wauzeka-Steuben came into Friday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Cashton Eagles 5-3.

Wauzeka-Steuben's victory bumped their record up to 2-13. As for Cashton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Wauzeka-Steuben will head out on the road to face off against Kickapoo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Cashton, they will host New Lisbon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.54 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
