Volleyball Recap: Dexter Wins Going Away Against Puxico

Dexter came into Monday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Puxico Indians with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The Bearcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Dexter walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-10, 25-22.

Mali McBride was the offensive standout of the match as she had 16 digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Dexter's win bumped their record up to 8-10-2. As for Puxico, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Dexter has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Doniphan on the 7th. Puxico has also already played their next contest (against Portageville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
