Volleyball Game Preview: Lowell Red Raiders vs. Needham Rockets

The Lowell Red Raiders will challenge the Needham Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lowell comes in on four and Needham on five.

On Thursday, Lowell got the win against Boston Latin by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Needham beat Woburn Memorial 3-1 on Saturday.

Needham walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 25-21, 25-14.

Needham pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Lowell, their record is now 18-2.

Lowell might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Needham when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Red Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
