Herndon entered their tilt with Dominion on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They escaped with a win against the Dominion Titans by the margin of a single free throw, 53-52. While the Hornets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Herndon's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Dominion, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Herndon will take on Yorktown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Yorktown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Dominion, they will head out to face off against Woodgrove at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Woodgrove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.7 points per game this season.
