Basketball Recap: Piute Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Piute can now relate to. They were dealt a 58-31 loss at the hands of the Milford Tigers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 53-51 loss back in February.

Milford found their leader in sophomore Acacia Dalton, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 boards set a new season-high mark for Dalton. Jaidyn Mcmullin was another key player, going 6-for-13 en route to 16 points and six rebounds.

Piute's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Milford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-13.

As of now, neither Piute nor Milford have any future games scheduled.
