Basketball Recap: Horizon Huskies vs. Mountain Pointe Pride

Horizon was the 64-62 winner over Mountain Pointe when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Horizon Huskies were dealt a 75-45 loss at the hands of the Mountain Pointe Pride on Friday.

Horizon's loss came despite strong showings from Ethan Hayes and Ryan Milner. Hayes went 6 of 13 on his way to 19 points and three blocks, while Milner posted ten points. That's the most blocks Hayes has posted since back in November of 2024.

Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Mountain Pointe, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Horizon will be playing at home against Notre Dame Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain Pointe, they will head out to face off against Desert Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
