Basketball Game Preview: Beachside Barracudas vs. Bolles Bulldogs

The Beachside Barracudas will face off against the Bolles Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Beachside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Beachside is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Orange Park with a sharp 77-54 victory on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Barracudas as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Beachside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Morgan Cremen led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten steals. Cremen has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 13 times she's played. Kendall Kane was another key player, going 7 for 13 en route to 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Beachside was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Meanwhile, Bolles faced Potter's House Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Bolles took down Potter's House Christian 50-36. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs who have now won five games in a row.

Bolles' win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Beachside, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
