Nolensville is a perfect 5-0 against Brentwood since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will host the Bruins at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Tuesday, Nolensville made easy work of Franklin and carried off a 10-1 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Admirals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Madi Creasman looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Jaycee Bilbrey was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Jadwin, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Brentwood never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Centennial. The Bruins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Marina Mason made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maggie McClendon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Avery Mason was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
Brentwood always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Brentwood is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Nolensville, their win bumped their record up to 20-10-1.
Brentwood's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Nolensville has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .444. It's a different story for Brentwood, though, as they've only averaged .359. Will they be able to contain Nolensville's hitters?
Nolensville was able to grind out a solid victory over Brentwood in their previous meeting on April 1st, winning 4-1. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bruins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
