Baseball Recap: Lewis Mills Comes Up Short

Lewis Mills fell victim to South Windsor and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 21-0 to the Bobcats. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 7-3 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lewis Mills dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for South Windsor, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewis Mills will square off against Avon at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Windsor, they will challenge Glastonbury at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
