Football Recap: Washington Jaguars vs. Snow Hill Eagles
Thursday just wasn't the day for Washington's offense. They were dealt a 35-0 defeat at the hands of the Snow Hill Eagles on Thursday. The Jaguars have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Dai'Jon Johnson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 207 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry for Snow Hill. With that strong performance, Johnson is now averaging an impressive 103.8 rushing yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Mekhi Waters, who rushed for 63 yards and two TDs on only five carries.
Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Snow Hill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.
