Baseball Recap: West Lutheran Victorious

West Lutheran won the last time they faced St. Agnes and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors skirted past the Aggies 9-7. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mason Kasowicz was excellent, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Larson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

West Lutheran was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

West Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for St. Agnes, they dropped their record down to 10-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Lutheran beat the Aggies by a score of 9-7 later that day.
