Football Recap: Foreman Comes Up Short

If Foreman was feeling good fresh off their 44-0 takedown of Steinmetz College Prep last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets took a 23-8 bruising from the Von Steuben Panthers on Friday. The Hornets lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in October of 2018, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 47-6 score last time.

The critical scores for Von Steuben came from Josiah Perez, Charlie Babe, and Rogelio Dominguez.

Foreman now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Von Steuben, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Foreman is set to face off against their familiar foe Uplift at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Von Steuben will square off against rival Chicago Academy/Disney II at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
