Soccer Game Preview: Rhinelander vs. Antigo

The Rhinelander Hodags will head out to take on the Antigo Red Robins at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rhinelander's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 16 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Rhinelander fell victim to Northland Pines and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Antigo's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They put the hurt on Waupaca with a sharp 4-1 victory.

Antigo's record now sits at 6-10-1. As for Rhinelander, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-3.

Rhinelander might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Antigo in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Hodags avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
