Basketball Game Preview: Pisgah Dragons vs. Lake Hornets + How To Watch

The Pisgah Dragons are taking a road trip to take on the Lake Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pisgah, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Pisgah didn't have too much trouble with Park Place Christian Academy as they won 61-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Pisgah found their leader in sophomore Luke Sanders, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 17 boards. The contest was Sanders' third in a row with at least 15 points. Zane Smith was another key player, putting up 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Pisgah smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 51-35 bruising from Forest.

Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pisgah, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Pisgah was dealt a bruising 66-38 loss at the hands of Lake in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
