Volleyball Recap: Northmont Comes Up Short

Northmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lebanon Warriors, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderbolts of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-15.

Lebanon was led to victory by Carson Jones and Braydon Crockett. Jones had three digs and two aces, while Crockett had ten digs and one assist. Crockett has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times he's played.

Northmont's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lebanon, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Northmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Beavercreek on the 8th. As for Lebanon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Kings on the 8th.
