Soccer Game Preview: Northwest Guilford vs. Page

The Northwest Guilford Vikings will take on the Page Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Northwest Guilford's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Grimsley. The Vikings' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Kaylin Hodges and Morgan Stallings scored both of Northwest Guilford's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Page). They put the hurt on Ragsdale with a sharp 4-0 win on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Pirates with their most commanding win of the season.

Page now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Northwest Guilford, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0-2.
