Soccer Recap: Abraham Lincoln Takes a Loss

Abraham Lincoln lost against John Bartram back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Railsplitters took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves. Fagner Perreira was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Abraham Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for John Bartram, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Abraham Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Franklin Towne on the 15th. As for John Bartram, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Horace Furness on the 17th.
