Basketball Recap: Canton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Canton won the last time they faced Plymouth and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Canton Cobras came out on top against the Plymouth Wildcats by a score of 60-49. The win was nothing new for the Cobras as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kessler Blakita was his usual excellent self, going 5 of 12 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Hurley, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Canton's record now sits at 10-6. As for Plymouth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Canton is taking a road trip to face off against Novi at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Novi will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Canton surely won't give up without a fight. Plymouth has already played their next game (against Hartland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
