Softball Recap: Sunapee Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Epping, Sunapee was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors as they made off with an 18-4 victory. The Lakers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Sunapee's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sunapee will challenge rival Hinsdale at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wilton-Lyndeborough is set to take on their familiar foe Portsmouth Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
