Baseball Preview: Mt. Vernon Mountaineers vs. Logan-Rogersville Wildcats
Mt. Vernon is 0-7 against Logan-Rogersville since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mt. Vernon Mountaineers are on the road again to play the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats at 4:30 p.m.
Last Friday, Mt. Vernon didn't have quite enough to beat Parkview and fell 3-2. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Mt. Vernon has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Logan-Rogersville waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Bison 12-3.
Mt. Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Logan-Rogersville, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
